A Lasting Legacy of Change: Every donation helps build a foundation for future generations, fostering a love of reading and learning that transforms lives, one child, one family, and one book at a time.

Donate Gently Used Books.

At The Reading Room, we deeply appreciate your support in helping us promote literacy and the joy of reading. We kindly ask that all book donations meet the following criteria to ensure they can bring joy to others:

  • Gently Used: Books should be clean, intact, and free from excessive wear, stains, or damage.

  • Loved, Not Abused: We cannot accept books that are moldy, torn, or have missing pages.

  • Purposeful and Relevant: Children's books, young adult novels, and other titles suitable for family-friendly audiences are particularly appreciated.

We hope to provide a welcoming and dignified experience for the children and families we serve, so thank you for helping us maintain the quality of our collection. If you're unsure whether your books are a good fit, feel free to reach out before donating!

Fill out the form below and we’ll come pick up your books on an upcoming Friday. Just leave them on the front porch!
